UK Manufacturing Industry Events Worth Attending in 2019

If you’re planning your marketing strategy for your manufacturing company, it’s important to leave room in the diary for a few key industry events. This give you the chance to network with others in the industry, stay on top of the latest trends and innovations, and publicise your own services and products.

2019 sees plenty of exciting events taking place across the UK, including trade shows, summits and seminars. The UK manufacturing industry is in a place of change at the moment, where business need to reassess their practices to ensure they are stable and sustainable. This means being aware of, and adopting, new and innovative technologies, such as additive manufacturing (3D printing), smart factories and data automation – all talking points at the biggest events this year.

Attending industry events are great for marketing your business, but they are also a good way to learn. Understanding the industry and its future progression helps with creating a business plan that will propel your company forward. It can also be worth exhibiting at one key event each year where your target market is most likely to be, though this will account for larger portion of your budget.

At the time of writing, there wasn’t much information on this event on the website, as the planned 2018 event had just been deferred to October 2019. However, this event, alongside its Southern counterpart which took place in February 2019, are key manufacturing trade shows with large visitors turnouts. Robotics and Automation
